Our School Uniform
We expect all pupils to wear the following uniform unless otherwise advised (e.g. for a themed or non-uniform day):
Main School Uniform:
- Maroon jumper or cardigan (with or without school logo)
- Pale blue polo shirt
- Grey trousers, skirt, or pinafore dress
- Sensible black shoes (flat, no bright colours, open toes or crocs)
Seasonal Options:
- In warmer weather, pupils may wear grey shorts or a blue gingham summer dress
Please note: Uniform does not need to have the school logo. Plain-coloured items in the correct colours are perfectly acceptable.
PE Kit
On PE days, pupils should wear:
- White t-shirt
- Black shorts, leggings, or jogging bottoms
- Black jumper or zip-up top (especially in colder months)
- Trainers suitable for physical activity
Why Uniform Matters
Our uniform is more than just clothing – it is part of our school culture and identity. It supports:
- Belonging: Pupils feel part of our school family and community
- Equality: It reduces social pressures and helps all children feel included
- Identity and Pride: Wearing our colours encourages school pride and a sense of responsibility
- Focus: With fewer distractions, pupils are better prepared to concentrate on their learning
- Safety: Uniform helps us easily identify pupils, especially when off-site
