AoLE and the New Curriculum

 

There are 6 Areas of Learning Experience, connected to the 4 core purposes;

 

Ambitious, capable learners

  • set themselves high standards, seek and enjoy challenge
  • building a body of knowledge and have the skills to apply that knowledge in different contexts
  • questioning and problem solving
  • can communicate effectively in different forms, using both Welsh and English
  • can explain the ideas and concepts they are learning about
