    Our Week in Pictures- 30.9.22

I love looking at all these amazing photos each week! So many friendships and smiling faces. 🙂

This week we’ve been acorn hunting, tooth brushing, making play dough cakes, counting sweets, printing leaves, taking photos, playing sports with Newport County, playing the ukulele, building Roman arches, coding, practicing our multiplication, staying Cybersafe with Minecraft and being amazing word detectives!

I don’t know how we fit it all in!

Another great week at Malpas Court Primary. We’ve been busy with Dough Disco, sequencing Hansel and Gretel, practicing ball skills, making digital art, working with money, exploring Micro:bits, practicing place value, learning about the Celts, practicing Welsh and making leaf crowns!

I wonder what we’ll get up to next week?

We’ve had a busy week at Malpas Court Primary, making the most of the nice weather while we still can. We’ve been busy painting, playing in the sand, riding bikes, making feelings faces, writing about the Rainbow Fish, visiting forest schools, sports with Newport County, learning place value, researching Ancient Rome, spreadsheets, databases, coding, inducting Heddlu Bach, drawing Celtic designs, drama and nature walks!

We also celebrated National Teaching Assistants day. We enjoyed spoiling our teaching assistants and saying thank you for all that they do for us!

We've had an amazing start to this school year. Everyone’s settled in amazingly well and is ready to learn. We’ve already made a start on our Autumn term topics and we can’t wait for you to see our amazing work! Make sure you’re connected on Class Dojo, to keep up to date with what’s going on, as well as seeing what we are up to each week.

As a Jubilee school, we were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time.
